First things first, to start with your journey with this easy-to-pick-up, hard-to-master game, (As is with most competitive card games) you must first invest into a prebuilt 61 Card deck, such as any of the Starter Decks listed on this site, or look into installing a OPCG Sim, in which I will link the Blog Category/Forum Posts for those respective topics. Comb through a few of those posts, maybe even pin it to call back to this after you have absorbed the information to spring for that Deck that caters to your playstyle, the one that makes you map out your way to dominate the stage! Or you can find the one with your favorite characters, and the one that just looks sick from the character art.

There is no defining way to navigate your soon fixation with this game. That's the beauty of One Piece and its Card Game, the path leads you to different avenues - such as competitive, collectors, unboxing that card that goes for 30$+, and appreciation of the collaboration of anime, manga, and original character art variances the whole spectrum of characters over.

Now that you have either invested into a Starter, built your own custom 50 card deck with 10 DON!! Cards and a Leader included, or have picked up a deck from the OPCG Sim, it is time to start learning the rules!

There's a trove of info from Bandai Namco themselves, try to start out with this short and simple guide running through a starter game of the Card Game!

The rules overview sheet that comes on the back of all of the Starter Deck playsheets is also a great resource! If you have purchased a ST Deck, this will be a great resource to follow with either the video, or to refresh on any turn flow or general rule covered or not by the video.

I will host this overview sheet here, but I implore you to always support the official release by heading to this rules site and purchasing a physical copy of the deck you use going forward! :)

Last but certainly not least, Bandai Namco have also release a Android/iOS App that also acts as a tutorial, going in depth with rules - using scenarios to show where these rules are applicable and exercised. This photo will link to the topic on the official site with the links to download the tutorial app!

Other official resources will be linked here to get the full picture on the rules of the card game.

Now if there is any questions or concerns, please let me know in the comments. All of these resources were made and distributed by Bandai Namco themselves so please show them some love by giving them a look-see. I'll see yall around, Captains.
